We were in Venice over the weekend for official bowling business (Congrats to LunchBox for making the National Finals in Vegas on April 7-10) when we were given the recommendation for a burger spot right off the main strip. Glad we hit this place up. Twice even!
As you can see, this place is a landmark! Truly a local spot with all its original flavor still packed in tight. Mostly outside seating. Cash only. Cheap beers. Better yet, cheap burgers!
Now on to the good stuff... Burgers! We all had no complaints at all... Even while being called "losers" from the friendly bar tenders. All kidding aside, they were real friendly. Great staff. ALl had smiles on their face. They just didn't like the Miami Hurricanes for some reason. We did however see a lot of Ohio State memorabilia all over the bar. Could be why... But i digress...
The burgers were solid. Cooked perfectly. With solid cheese and toppings. Juicy all the way through. This is why we came back for seconds on Sunday.

Sgt Sauce here: Had to post a comment and let everyone know, this place rocks! Great service, cheap beer and burgers. Delicious burgers at that. Not to mention, if you are from florida and remember what florida was like in the late 80's, Venice is for you. :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely, would go back to the west coast for the burgers and atmosphere. If your ever over there, tell them the Miami Losers sent ya.
