Name That Burger Tune...?

So tell me homies, can't you see
That if you ever wanna be as fat as me
You gots to be
(chorus)
A big mac, a blt
Quarter pounder with some cheese
Filet of fish a hamburger
A cheeseburger a happy meal
Milkshake, diet coke bigger or the smaller size
A chicken oriental with salad on the side
I'm a big mac, a blt
Quarter pounder with some cheese
Filet of fish a hamburger
A cheeseburger a happy meal
Milkshake, diet coke bigger or the smaller size
A chicken oriental with salad on the side

Yard House - Palm Beach Gardens, FL

I was seated at the bar and greeted by a very nice bartender who claimed that Yard House had "The Best Burgers in town." So we got to talking and I mentioned what I was here for [burgers] and had a manager stop by. Taken back by the friendliness, he proceeded to have my call corporate headquarters to make sure they were okay with me taking pictures of the burgers... You can see where this is going... As i post this (about 45 min. after calling) I have still yet to hear back from them... Thanks to social media and the invention of camera phones, needless to say, I got some shots.

On to the burger: I chose the Pepper Crusted Gorgonzola Burger - marsala sautéed crimini mushrooms, carmelized onions, baby spinach. This is a very misleading burger... The Pepper Crusted was more like a pepper marinade(overkill). Carmelized Onions were actually, from what the manager explained, is a carmelized onion jam. Yep, jam.... This was very sweet! So you can also see where this burger took my taste buds...

The meat was cooked perfectly and the Gorgonzola cheese was fresh. What got me though was that they put the onion jam on under the meat so the bottom bun became very soggy. I actually flipped the burger over to keep the burger properly situated in my hand to eat.

Although... The beer was tasty! And they do have great shoe-string french fries!

Overall rating on a scale of Rare (worst) to Well-Done(best):

Jon Smith Subs - Cheeseburger Bomb Sub

This was actually pretty good. Who knew?
They slice two burgers in half to fit on a sub roll... Top it with American Cheese, Grilled Onions and Peppers, Ketchup/Mayo and serve with a side of fries... Not too bad. Try it out next time you can find a Jon Smith Subs.

Cheeseburgers and More - Jupiter, FL

This was a diamond in the rough... Hidden off the highway in Jupiter, buried in a shopping plaza, Cheeseburgers and More was a great surprise! The sports talk radio has been advertising all day everyday about this place, so i decided to try it out.

I was delighted to see such crap all over the wall... I don't know what is it but it proves to me the place is loved by locals and had been apart of the community for years. They have photos hanging EVERYWHERE of the lucky eaters who have braved the 1lb, 2lb 6lb and yes the 8lb burger.

The "and more" is something to be seen... They have a kids arcade and ball-pit maze that would almost rival those at Chuck-E Cheese. Although I haven't been in one since i was 6yrs old... (no kids yet).

Now to the goods... The burger i decided to try was the 'Salsa Burger' - jalapeno cheese, salsa & of course, jalapenos. It was cooked perfectly to my request! I really liked how that topped the jalapenos with the cheese to help keep them on the burger. Clever!

It may not of effected the taste of the burger but Service with a Smile goes a long way! Thanks Heather...

In-N-Out Burger - San Francisco, CA

I honestly didn't think I'd be able to make it out to the West Coast this soon, but thanks to Chef Steve and his amazing trip to Napa Valley, I was able to sweet talk him into a fast stop on the way to the airport. I regret making that decision. Honestly,  what is the big fuss about In-N-Out Burger?

McDonalds fries are much better. These were plain, pretty undercooked and flavorless. The place was packed. I can see why people flock here, because Jack In the Box is everywhere. In-N-Out is not that easy to find. The menu is simple... Kind of like 5 Guys... But the quality is poor.

I find this hard to believe...

I went with the Double-Double (Animal Style).... They throw everything they have in the kitchen on this burger... The Animal Sauce was not different then the 'Secret Sauce' on a Big Mac (Ketchup & Mayo)... Maybe they added relish in theirs. Onions, pickles, lettuce, tomato, etc... Just not impressed.

The pictures don't show happiness from the burger... The happiness was that i finally got to try an In-N-Out Burger... Still disappointing!
